Hicket Web - Financial Ecosystem Landing

High-conversion landing page for the Hicket financial ecosystem, optimized for SEO and conversion using Astro 5.

September 2024

Technical Overview

Hicket Web is the official landing page for the Hicket mobile financial ecosystem. Built on Astro 5, it prioritizes speed, SEO, and user conversion. It showcases the app's core features—like the Transaction State Machine, GPU-accelerated rendering, and multi-tenant business management—using a 'Zero JS by default' architecture. It leverages Astro Islands for interactive elements like the budget simulator and provides a seamless bridge to the mobile app stores, mirroring the high-performance patterns of modern landing pages like DayOne.

Problem Statement

The Hicket ecosystem requires a fast, accessible web presence to explain its complex financial features, multi-user permissions, and drive mobile application downloads without compromising on performance.

Architecture

Islands Architecture implementation strategically hydrating components within a static HTML shell. Utilizes build-time SSG and a Vite-powered styling pipeline. Enforces strict TypeScript across MDX and component props.

Key Features

  • Islands Architecture (Selective Hydration)
  • Zero-JS by Default Core Delivery
  • Build-time MDX Content Transformation
  • Multi-user Business Management Showcase
  • Automated XML Sitemap & OG Tag Orchestration
  • Seamless Mobile App Store Integration Bridge

Challenges

  • Minimizing main thread execution time via selective hydration
  • Maintaining brand consistency between React Native mobile and Astro web
  • Integrating ultra-fast HMR with Tailwind CSS 4.1 via Vite
  • Orchestrating programmatic metadata for dynamic content

Outcomes

Achieved perfect Core Web Vitals and Lighthouse scores. Drastically reduced bundle sizes compared to traditional SPAs while maintaining a modern, interactive content experience for the Hicket ecosystem.
